Triangle Fire: A commemoration and remembrance of the buried history of the 146 immigrant sweatshop workers, mostly women and teenage girls, who perished behind locked doors on March 25, 1911 at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory in Manhattan at Washington Place and Greene Street. Imparting special meaning to the labor protests breaking out now in Wisconsin and across the country, to defend the rights for which these unsung workers had fought so hard up until their senseless deaths at the hands of unscrupulous bosses.
